Ready to level up your coffee game?
Whether you’re dreaming of stepping behind a coffee bar or just want to make the best cup at home, this hands-on class is the perfect starting point. We’ll cover the essentials of coffee and espresso, giving you the skills and confidence to dive right into the coffee industry.
Our instructor, Kat Padlan, has been immersed in the coffee and hospitality/food industry for over 10 years. As the founder of Kamay Coffee, a consultancy for café owners, managers, and leaders, Kat is known for her deep expertise and vast network in the specialty coffee world. Kat’s experience spans working with renowned roasters, green coffee importers, and traveling across the United States to collaborate directly with different coffee brands and companies.
Currently, she partners with farmers in Peru and the Philippines to develop sustainable ways to support their communities. As one of the founding team members of Lucky’s Coffee Roasters, Kat has been instrumental in shaping its success and is now gearing up to compete as part of the Lucky’s competition team.
With her passion for coffee education and dedication to fostering meaningful connections, Kat brings both expertise and heart to every project she takes on as she takes you through this class.
